Samurai Armor Experience
A special armor experience in a real wooden restored Japanese castle in Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture. Inside the castle, visitors can enjoy the experience of wearing the armor of Date Masamune, Katakura Kojuro Kagetsuna, and Sanada Yukimura.

The only experience of its kind in Japan, using a real castle inside and out. The armor you will wear is authentic, high-end armor made by Japanese craftsmen. Japanese-style costumes are also worn inside the castle, providing an authentic experience that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
The Experience
A special armor experience using a real wooden restored Japanese castle. The armor used in this special experience is high quality armor carefully crafted by artisans. Clothing and tabi (socks) are also provided. Shiroishi Castle is probably the only place in Japan where you can experience armor inside and outside a real castle. Come to Shiroishi Castle for an experience that can only be had here. English is available. Professional photographers are available as an option for those who wish to have their photos taken.

How to Use

Purchase Notice
We will ask for your height, weight, and leg size before we fit you in the armor. We will ask you the breakdown of the number of people who will experience the armor (e.g. 2 adults, 2 children, etc.).
Important Booking Information
Please wear clothes that are easy to move in, avoiding skirts (to prevent the armor from being attached to your legs) and tank tops (to avoid contact between your bare skin and the armor). Please wear lightweight clothing for the upper half of your body, as you will be wearing kimono when you arrive. White, navy blue, or black innerwear is preferable.
